She invented the Sash Bag out of necessity, never imagining it would become the phenomenon it is today. Nichole&apos;s passion lies in connecting with customers and spreading the love of Sash. A single mom, philanthropist, and active community member, Nichole is a sister-friend to many and the driving force behind Sash Bag&#x2019;s mission to bring people together.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 16px;">Our team includes some truly spectacular individuals. We have people who&#x2019;ve been with us since Sash was still being run out of Nichole&#x2019;s garage, almost 12 years ago, and others who joined us in 2023 as amazing new additions. Family, close friends, and inspired newcomers make up our tight-knit crew, and we&#x2019;re united by a shared passion for what we do.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 16px;">We care about each other, and that care extends naturally to our customers. Komen&#xAE;</strong>, the world&#x2019;s leading breast cancer organization. Each October, during <strong>Breast Cancer Awareness Month</strong>, we donate a portion of our profits to help fund advocacy, research, and support for those affected by breast cancer.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 16px;">Many of our <strong>Sash Sisters</strong> have shared their breast cancer journeys with us, and we&apos;re proud to play a small role in making their lives a little easier by supporting this vital cause.</span></p><hr><h3 id="precious-kids-foundation"><span style="font-size: 16px;"><strong>Precious Kids Foundation</strong></span></h3><p><span style="font-size: 16px;"><a href="https://preciouskidsfoundation.org" rel="noopener" target="_new">Visit&#xA0;preciouskidsfoundation.org</a></span></p><p><span style="font-size: 16px;">The <strong>Precious Kids Foundation</strong> provides urgent medical care and education for children in need in Uganda. What started as a monthly donation from Sash evolved into hands-on support, including a medical camp visit and a special donation campaign.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 16px;">After seeing the tireless efforts of the all-volunteer staff, we created a way to provide income for four volunteers, allowing them to dedicate themselves fully to the foundation&#x2019;s mission. This has greatly increased the impact they can have on the children they serve.</span></p><hr><h3 id="lotus-outreach"><span style="font-size: 16px;"><strong>Lotus Outreach</strong></span></h3><p><span style="font-size: 16px;"><a href="https://lotusoutreach.org" rel="noopener" target="_new">Visit&#xA0;lotusoutreach.org</a></span></p><p><span style="font-size: 16px;"><strong>Lotus Outreach</strong> was Sash&#x2019;s first major charitable partnership, beginning 10 years ago when we started manufacturing in India. Our contributions helped keep their education program running and provided bags for young women traveling to school.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 16px;">Nichole visited the program twice and witnessed the difference that access to transportation made in these girls&#x2019; ability to continue their education.</span></p><hr><h3 id="monarch-school"><span style="font-size: 16px;"><strong>Monarch School</strong></span></h3><p><span style="font-size: 16px;"><a href="https://monarchschools.org" rel="noopener" target="_new">Visit&#xA0;monarchschools.org</a></span></p><p><span style="font-size: 16px;">We donated a large number of Sash Bags to students at <strong>Monarch School</strong>, a program for unhoused youth. The bags helped students keep their essentials close, and after hearing the impact, we launched a &quot;buy one, donate one&quot; campaign to give more.</span></p><hr><h3 id="san-diego-womens-shelters"><span style="font-size: 16px;"><strong>San Diego Women&#x2019;s Shelters</strong></span></h3><p><span style="font-size: 16px;">In collaboration with women&apos;s shelters in San Diego, we donated Sash Bags filled with toiletries and essentials, thanks to the help of our team and the Sash Community. The event was a huge success, bringing our community together to make a meaningful difference.</span></p><hr><p><span style="font-size: 16px;">At Sash Bag, we know that people are the heart of every positive change.
